Pure Joy
A manual remote control for digital Bluetooth speakers. With dedicated buttons for volume, playback, and track selection, users can make adjustments instantly without reaching for a phone or navigating an app. This tactile control creates a natural and enjoyable listening experience, allowing people to stay focused on the music and the moment.
Building on the existing design language and color system, the concept was developed to feel like a natural addition to the product lineup. Careful consideration of form, proportion, materiality, and visual details ensure alignment with the brand's established aesthetic. The result is a design that feels both familiar and distinctive, seamlessly fitting within the broader ecosystem.
By putting control directly at their fingertips, physical buttons add a sense of comfort, connection, and enjoyment that enhances everyday listening. Part of a speculative study, independent of Sonos, this design explores the value and joy of hands-on interaction away from screens and digital interfaces.
